# Custom AMI Not Creating -amazon-ebs: \* Error waiting for AMI in region (eu-west-2): Failed with ResourceNotReady

Previously i was able to create this windows custom AMI but now i can see this attached message

some time i could create the AMI but cannot log in to the EC2 that created in it, it says

“The instance was launched from a custom AMI, or the default password has changed”
