Federated data centers - possible to load balance calls across both?

Here’s my scenario:

  1. DC1 - Service A
  2. DC2 - Service A

Both DC1 and DC2 are federated with mesh gateways. I can send traffic with resolvers to either service A running in DC1 or service A running in DC2 or as a failover mechanism. However, I want to be able to split traffic - say 50% to service A running in each DC (not version or tag based). Is it possible?
