Currently hitting an issue where Packer ignores installation of Ansible Collections when using the ansible-local provisioner.
This issue hindered creation of immutable images to be deployed on our infrastructure, we’ve worked around it by running our own Packer fork internally with a patch.
I worry this issue may discourage users from Packer and/or Ansible Collections altogether.
