# Nomad plugin reload

Is there a command or instructions on how to load a new plugin to an active Nomad cluster?

Hi @ValentaTomas the Nomad agent’s support for config reloading is fairly limited right now

To load a new plugin I believe the agent will need a restart. Doing so shouldn’t interrupt any running tasks, outside of `-dev` mode.
