# Request for Testing: Terraform Test Mocking!

Hello everyone!

The Terraform team is pleased to present an extension to the Terraform Test framework: provider mocking. This is in the most recent alpha release, so it **not** ready for production.

You can download it via the [releases website](https://releases.hashicorp.com/terraform/1.7.0-alpha20231130/) (see [CHANGELOG](https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/releases/tag/v1.7.0-alpha20231130)).

The documentation is still in progress, but an early draft can be found [here](https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/pull/34198).

Please respond to this topic with any feedback or questions! Potential bugs can also be filed within our Github [Issues](https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/issues).
