The Terraform Enterprise team would like to announce the release 2.0.4 is now available.

Some key highlights and important bits from the release notes:

Bug Fixes

  1. Vault‑dependent services now start reliably in multi‑node deployments. Previously, Terraform Enterprise could start services that depend on Vault before the Vault cluster had elected a leader, which could cause startup failures or crashes in multi‑node environments. This issue has been resolved by ensuring services wait until Vault is fully ready before starting.
  2. Terraform Enterprise now prevents tasks from being orphaned in “executing” status when the database is slow to respond, which previously caused associated runs to get stuck indefinitely.

Security

  1. Security vulnerabilities have been addressed and resolved in this update to enhance overall system protection.
