We have just released Terraform v1.17.0-beta1.
The highlight of this beta release is the introduction of Terraform Policy. Other notable features include support for variables and local values in provider requirements, as well as the new -minimal-refresh planning option, which instructs Terraform to refresh only resources with proposed changes.
This release also includes additional improvements and bug fixes. For the full list of changes, see the CHANGELOG.
