Hi all,
The Vault team is announcing the release of Vault Community Edition 2.0.3 and Vault Enterprise 2.0.3,1.21.8, 1.20.13, and 1.19.19.
The 2.0.3 Community Edition and Enterprise editions are available on our releases portal [1,10].
As a reminder, if you believe you have found a security issue in Vault, please responsibly disclose by emailing security@hashicorp.com and do not use the public issue tracker. Our security policy and our PGP key can be found at [2].
Notable changes in the release are:
-
The following UI dependencies were updated as part of ongoing security and maintenance hygiene:
-
ember-basic-dropdown — Bumped to satisfy a peer dependency requirement with @hashicorp/design-system-components.
-
Babel preset — Reinstalled at a newer version to stay current with the JavaScript build ecosystem.
-
Stale dependency overrides removed — Several packages previously pinned as safe overrides have been cleaned up from ui/package.json, reducing unnecessary version constraints.
Major features and improvements in Vault 2.0.3 are:
-
Refreshed data visualizations across the UI. Charts throughout the UI have been migrated to a modern, accessible charting library, delivering a more polished and consistent visual experience across dashboards and reporting views.
-
Improved tooltip styling and functionality on donut charts. Tooltips on donut charts have been refined for better clarity and consistency, making it easier to read and interpret data at a glance.
-
Fixed stuck dropdowns in the Transit secrets engine. A bug causing Transit secrets engine dropdowns to become unresponsive in the UI has been resolved — Transit workflows should now feel snappy and reliable.
See the Changelog at [3] for the full list of improvements and bug fixes.
See the Feature Deprecation Notice and Plans page [8] for our upcoming feature deprecation plans.
Community [6] and Enterprise [7] Docker images will be available soon.

We hope you enjoy Vault 2.0.3!
Sincerely, The Vault Team
