# Was hashicorp repo from debian buster removed to update consul?

Hi team,

We need to upgrade the consul version on debian buster.

We have hashicorp source for debian as below:

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hashicorp.list  
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/hashicorp-archive-keyring.gpg] [https://apt.releases.hashicorp.com](https://apt.releases.hashicorp.com) buster main

when we do apt update , it’s failing

## Err:5 [https://apt.releases.hashicorp.com](https://apt.releases.hashicorp.com) buster Release 404 Not Found [IP: 18.66.171.113 443]

Was the hashicorp repo for debian 10 (buster) was removed?

Yes, this repo was archived per the announcement here.

Thanks, but I was looking for the latest one (consul 1.21.2 - [Releases · hashicorp/consul · GitHub](https://github.com/hashicorp/consul/releases)) and it’s not there in the archived repo [debian buster amd64 main | HashiCorp Linux Package Archives](https://archive.releases.hashicorp.com/debian/buster/amd64/main/)
