did you have to do any of the following:

  • Rename resources within the same (remote!) Terraform state, with optional fuzzy match.
  • Move resources from one (remote!) Terraform state to another.
  • Import existing resources into Terraform state.

did you painstakingly follow blog posts to avoid destroying your remote state?
would you like to do this with a safe way to roll back?
