Key fixes and improvements in this release are enumerated below.
- AWS Timeouts : For the AWS auth method, the AWS secrets engine, and AWS unseal, we have set the default IMDS timeouts to match the AWS SDK.
- Lease Counts : We fixed an issue where lease counts were not being decremented in telemetry, making it appear that the number of leases was perpetually increasing.
- Integrated Storage : We added a metric to show raft peers for integrated storage.
- Integrated Storage : We’ve added the ability to add and remove raft peers in a DR secondary cluster.
See the Changelog at for the full list of improvements and bug fixes.
OSS and Enterprise Docker images will be available soon.
See for general upgrade instructions.
As always, we recommend upgrading and testing this release in an isolated environment. If you experience any non-security issues, please report them on the Vault GitHub issue tracker or post to the Vault Discuss Forum at .
We hope you enjoy Vault 1.5.5!
