Hi all,
I’ve released urga, an open source terminal UI for Nomad (Go, MIT): GitHub - ingvarch/urga: Terminal UI for HashiCorp Nomad. One binary, no config to write, no browser. · GitHub
One binary, no config file. It reads the same NOMAD_ADDR and NOMAD_TOKEN as the nomad CLI, so export them and run urga. If you know k9s, it’s the same idea for Nomad.
What it does:
- Browse and filter jobs, allocations, clients, servers, volumes, variables, namespaces and ACL objects, with live updates from the Nomad event stream
- Follow logs and files, including the logs of one task from every allocation of a job at once
- Edit a job in your editor and see the plan before anything is submitted; view versions, revert, tag them
- Start, stop, scale and restart jobs and allocations; drain clients; open a shell in a task
- Explain why a job isn’t placed; dispatch periodic and parameterized jobs
- Manage variables (with check-and-set) and ACL tokens, policies, roles and auth methods
- Read-only mode and several named clusters
Install: brew install ingvarch/tap/urga, a .deb/.rpm from the releases page, or go install ``github.com/ingvarch/urga/cmd/urga@latest.
Independent project, not affiliated with HashiCorp. I’m happy to answer any questions and I’d like to hear which workflows you still leave the terminal for.
