The main provider that’s used to manage Postgres resources seems to be suffering from an inactive maintainer that isn’t keeping up with the contributions of the community. Postgres is a very important technology for the industry in general and the fact this provider is slowly dying is really concerning.
I’ve heard that Terraform can take over providers when they are important and are having issues. Is this a valid scenario?
I’m being direct to get the point across very quickly and avoid wasting your time, not trying to be rude. I really value the contribution they made, it was such a huge lifesaver to our team. I don’t mean to criticize someone because I know that life can get busy, I’m just trying to help a struggling project.
