Hi.

  1. Why are you executing server join command line?
  2. No, consul is not needed.
  3. Trying to join as a server while you are running a client.
  4. I am confused join a Nomad server to the existing master server - so there are two servers, or there is one client and one server?

The server join command joins the local server to one or more Nomad servers. Joining is only required for server nodes,

Server commands are for servers, as the name implies.

Joining is done automatically normally, with the ip given in config.
