ETA or Guidance for Redshift Serverless Cross-Region Snapshot Copy Support?

Hello everyone,

We are currently building out our Multi-Region / Disaster Recovery architecture using Terraform and are looking to automate the copying of native Amazon Redshift Serverless snapshots from our primary region to a secondary DR region.

Currently, the standard AWS Provider has the `aws_redshift_snapshot_copy` resource, but this is strictly limited to provisioned Redshift clusters. There does not appear to be a native resource or argument block (such as `aws_redshiftserverless_snapshot_copy_configuration`) to handle this for the Serverless offering.

I am aware of the open tracking issue on GitHub (Issue #36808) and have given it a thumbs-up reaction.

However, because our timeline for multi-region enablement is active, we are trying to plan our technical path forward.

I wanted to check in here to ask:

  1. Is there any internal visibility or broad timeline regarding when support for Redshift Serverless snapshot copies might be introduced to the `hashicorp/aws` provider?
  2. If a native resource is further out on the roadmap, has anyone successfully managed this in production using a custom provider lifecycle pattern, or is the general consensus to lean on an `awscc` provider configuration / `local-exec` CLI script for the time being? Any guidance, workarounds, or updates from the community or maintainers would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
