Failed to refresh cached credentials, no EC2 IMDS role found, operation error ec2imds

Hi Guys I am kind of new comer in Terraform and staring learning and practicing.
I am trying to create a Ec2 machine in AWS and I got the below error message:

 Error: configuring Terraform AWS Provider: no valid credential sources for Terraform AWS Provider found.
│
│ Please see https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/aws
│ for more information about providing credentials.
│
│ AWS Error: failed to refresh cached credentials, no EC2 IMDS role found, operation error ec2imds: GetMetadata, request canceled, context deadline exceeded
│
│
│   with provider["registry.terraform.io/hashicorp/aws"],
│ on main.tf line 12, in provider "aws":
│   12: provider "aws" {

here is my terraform code that I try to apply

terraform {
  required_providers {
    aws = {
      source  = "hashicorp/aws"
      version = "~> 4.16"
    }
  }

  required_version = ">= 1.2.0"
}

provider "aws" {
  region = "us-west-2"
}

resource "aws_instance" "app_server" {
  ami           = "ami-830c94e3"
  instance_type = "t2.micro"

  tags = {
    Name = "ExampleAppServerInstance"
  }
}

any one has any comment suggestion how can I fix this issue?

I fixed the issue since I noticed “access key” and and “access key ID” was not imparted in correct way, after export them again the “terraform apply” command was run with no error.
