Is there a way to help triage?

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with Terraform in our modern API-centric software-defined world.

However, I am starting to run into bugs in providers on a weekly basis, and I notice that many of the really popular providers have a ton of issues open and untriaged.

Is there some way we, the community, can help a bit?

As an example, probably the most popular provider, AWS, has 661 issues that haven’t even been triaged yet.

Anyway, I don’t have a mountain of time, but I think if the community at large, and maybe the vendors too, are empowered, some power users and devs can certainly make a dent.

There’s typically not anything required to help triage issues; just jump in, try to ensure that the reporter has provided all the necessary information, logs/output, etc. If you’re able, try to reproduce the problem as well, which may lead to solving it :slight_smile:
