Is this autoscaler going to be used in nomad 1.1 as community edition or does it require enterprise only?
@thatsk The Nomad Autoscaler is a separate binary and AFAIK compatible with the OSS edition as well.
You should check out the examples from the autoscaler’s github page.

I’ll leave it upto someone from HashiCorp to explain in details (like the specific learn guides around this).

Hi @thatsk
@shantanugadgil was spot-on.
The Nomad Autoscaler is a separate binary, that is also distributed as a Docker image, that you can run alongside your other workloads in Nomad.
It’s a free and open source project, with a paid Enterprise version that has additional functionality. Currently Dynamic Application Sizing is the only feature that is only available on Enterprise.
If you would like to give it a try, checkout our tutorials in our Learn portal.
