Currently, Packer relies on AWS SDK for Go v1.45.6 (packer/go.mod at main · hashicorp/packer · GitHub), while the latest available version is v1.55.6.
Upgrading to the latest version of the SDK would ensure compatibility with AWS’s latest regions and partitions.
Would it be possible to update Packer’s AWS SDK for Go to the latest version? Thank you.
