Deprecation Notice
We have introduced several deprecations to Sentinel and the Policy Enforcement feature in HCP Terraform and Enterprise.
Effective 2nd September 2024, the tfplan, tfconfig, and tfstate Sentinel imports will be deprecated.
We recommend transitioning to the updated v2 imports as soon as possible to ensure continued functionality.
The v2 imports provide enhanced features and are designed to better support your policy enforcement needs.
Additionally, the Policy Checks API is being deprecated in favor of the new Policy Evaluation API, which offers a more flexible workflow for managing policies at scale.
These deprecations will last for approximately 12 months, with permanent removal scheduled for the end of August 2025.
