I must say that I am currently having issues with the AutoScalingGroup calling the SNS Topic to send a SMS message to my phone number despite using the ASG notification and a policy to allow ASG to publish to the SNS Topic for a scale up/down event, I have tried every possible means but I am stuck, I appreciate your response, thanks.
