Hello - we have been testing the new no code feature of TFC to potentially start leveraging it internally.
Positives:
- using standard HCL to define root modules that are published for users
- ability to set drop down values for variables
Opportunities:
- variables that are type
objectshould create larger text boxes in the GUI and should show the expected data structure
Deal Breakers:
- without the ability to upgrade modules we are struggling to find many use cases where this is helpful. some resources can be destroyed and re-created but not many… and the ones that can, that is inconvenient
In summary, I think this feature is a good idea and something we could use internally as well as many of our customers. However, atm its not feature complete for most use cases we have considered
