Hello! I’m using vault on-prem the open source version. I love it absolutely. I’m also using consul (similarly). I adore it.
However, I’ve run into a strange situation:
You’ll notice 3 different nodes here. They are all the auto-registered nodes from vault to consul. I made none of these by hand.
Interestingly, you may also notice that the node name is different in each case. I don’t know why. The top one was created today, I don’t know how or why. The second one appeared shortly after installing.
I’m pretty sure the third one is the original, where I try to give that node a tag.
I can paste any part of the setup, but I’m not sure what I need to provide to get help.
