Boundary Dynamic Host Catalog to support more hosts/target types

Hey all,

We’re looking into extending DHC (Dynamic Host Catalog) to support more target types. Currently it only supports AWS EC2 and Azure Compute. What more target types would you like to have supported in the future?

Any other resource types in AWS and Azure? Databases? K8 clusters?

Hello @rachana.badekar and everyone,

I’m very interested by dynamic host catalog from Kubernetes clusters and ressources.
We deploy lots of postgres, mongodb and kafka instances in Kubernetes clusters and it will be awesome to have dynamic host catalog from this ressources.

Is there any work in progress on this subject ?

The alternative could be building catalog automaticaly and regularly from our inventory through Terraform project.
