Connect + prepared queries

Hi,

i would like to know if we can use Connect plus prepared Queries for Cross DC

I’m exploring prepared queries to route to specific service instances by Tags.
It works fine if both the services are in the same DataCenter. If i add FailOver to other dc’s ’
m getting
Error communicating with upstream service: Get http://localhost:9091/: read tcp 127.0.0.1:36080->127.0.0.1:9091: read: connection reset by peer

I kept the simulated environment from meshgateway example for reference

If we have a prepared query that has failover configurations, do i need meshgateway for cross DC communication?

Its a network issue, 'm able to do Cross DC call using prepared queries.
