How can I know if and when Consul Connect 1.5.2 gets deprecated?

A question about the deprecation policy was recently answered in the topic Question about supported Consul-versions.
Consul 1.5.x has already been deprecated. It stopped receiving bug/security fixes after Consul 1.8.0 became available on June 18, 2020.
