The Nomad team is happy to present Nomad v1.8.2, which includes several bug fixes, new UI options and security improvements for Nomad and Nomad Enterprise
This release includes, among other improvements and bug fixes:
- The docker task driver now defaults to hyper-v isolation mode and can validate that unprivileged containers aren’t running as ContainerAdmin, on Windows.
- The option to add CNI arguments in the job specification.
- Version bumps on Golang (1.22.5), Consul (1.29.1) and Consul-template (0.39.0), which brings a bunch of new consul functionality, to see more specifics, check the consul template changelog.
- The possibility to create Global ACL tokens from the Administration UI.
- The ability for client fingerprinting to prefer IPv4 or IPv6 address family.
