Oracle DB password change

Do you know if there is an option to decide about the password text in HV?
it’s only for the first time - it will make our move to HV much easier.

You haven’t identified the particular Vault feature you are asking about, so it is difficult to give a precise answer.

However, from general Vault experience, the answer is likely to be “No, there is not”.

We are using database schema password management with Oracle plugin.

Like most of Vault, the database secrets engine exclusively uses passwords that it generates itself.

There is no option to use a pre-existing password.
