The Packer team is excited to announce the release of Packer 1.8.2.
This release contains the latest version of the go-getter/v2 library v2.1.0, which addresses the vulnerabilities listed in HCSEC-2022-13. The changes within the updated go-getter library can be breaking for some plugins. We ask that you test your Packer templates against the latest release in a non-production environment before upgrading.
