Terraform Enterprise v202408-1 (781) is available

The Terraform Enterprise team would like to announce the release v202408-1 (781) is now available.

Some key highlights and important bits from the release notes:

  • You can now define a name and URL for workspaces created through the no-code workspace API.
  • The API now allows specifying an execution mode, supporting ‘agent’ and ‘remote’ modes.
  • Owners and users with ‘Manage Teams’ permission can now manage team tokens for team members.
  • Terraform Enterprise can now be deployed to Nomad, with detailed information available in the requirements documentation and installation instructions.
  • There are also a couple of important deprecation notices – The Replicated Native Scheduler option is set to be discontinued in November 2024, requiring users to transition to a different deployment option to ensure they receive continuous feature enhancements and security fixes. The terraform-build-worker-plan-timeout and terraform-build-worker-apply-timeout attributes are deprecated in the admin organization and general settings API. The API endpoint /vars has been deprecated and is no longer supported. Existing integrations need to transition to using the /workspaces/:workspace_id/vars endpoint instead. After November 12, 2024, support for PostgreSQL v12 will be discontinued by Terraform Enterprise. Users are advised to refer to the PostgreSQL Requirements for Terraform Enterprise to ensure compatibility with the supported versions.

As always, please contact support with any issues, and your account team with any feedback or feature requests.
