Vagrant "Too long to respond"

Hi,

I’m using Vagrant and VirtualBox and whenever I lock my laptop and then go back to my local site, it always says:

This site can’t be reached

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Why does this happen? How can I resolve it?
