When is 0.12 going to be released? (Old question, it's since been released!)

Beta 2 is out, just making sure all the providers are compatible with 0.12 before we can go for a final release.

Even though 0.12 is a minor release increment, we have been working on this for over 12 months. Merging HCL and HIL to create HCL2 and introduce all the new language features you all have been asking for has taken quite a while. But it will be worth the wait.

@radeksimko says that the release date is going to be “soon.”

Hah, I actually tried to remove this message because it was released before we went live with this site.

It’s worth noting that not all Terraform providers are currently compatible with Terraform 0.12. I imagine this will change as time passes.
