Today we’re shipping a new way to log in to Vagrant Cloud. Users are now able to sign in to Vagrant Cloud with HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) login credentials. This can be done with an existing HCP account or by signing up for a new one.
Vagrant Cloud and HCP accounts are linked by email address, so existing Vagrant Cloud users should make sure their HCP address matches their Vagrant Cloud one before linking.
Once a Vagrant Cloud account is linked with HCP, the old username and password credentials are disabled. For CLI and API access, Authentication Tokens will continue to work and be managed in the Vagrant Cloud settings page.
