Boundary Community Edition: long-term scope and paid edition benefits

Hello,

The compagny I work for is evaluating Boundary and I would like to better understand the long-term direction of the Community Edition.

Is there any general guidance on whether features currently available in Boundary Community Edition are expected to remain in Community over time, or could some of them eventually move to a paid tier?

Also, beyond the feature comparison table, what do the paid editions typically include in practice ? For example:

  • support,

  • security patching / hotfixes,

  • backports,

  • upgrade assistance,

  • SLA,

  • and any operational or customer success benefits.
