Can someone take a look at a memberlist PR?

I was told the Consul team at HashCorp maintains the Memberlist repo. Not sure if this is the right place to ask for a PR review, but I would appreciate if someone can get Fix sending compound messages corruption when including messages larger than 64KB by pracucci · Pull Request #260 · hashicorp/memberlist · GitHub review and merged.

I am one of the maintainer of GitHub - cortexproject/cortex: A horizontally scalable, highly available, multi-tenant, long term Prometheus., and the aforementioned PR is needed to fix an important issue in Cortex.

Hey @alvinlin123

We can definitely get that PR reviewed. I’ll surface this to the team today and get a feel for how long the PR review will take ( we’re in the midst of a few releases right now ) but we’ll try to prioritize this since it’s holding up an important fix for y’all.

BTW, I did not know that AWS managed prometheus was backed by cortex. That is super cool!

Yea the Managed Prometheus from AWS is backed by Cortex, we :heart: open source and actively contribute back to it :slight_smile:
