Azure automatically create a custom domain binding after a web app endpoint added to a traffic manager profile, and cause the resource azurerm_app_service_custom_hostname_binding to fail. I don’t see there is a option to read custom domain from a web app using terraform, unless data azurerm_app_service_custom_hostname_binding is supported
