New instance created unable to login to the admin console

boundary accounts create password -auth-method-id=ampw_bB2CHxJLmw
-login-name=“admin” -password=“password” -name=admin -keyring-type=none
-description=“admin account”

Error:
boundary accounts create password -auth-method-id=ampw_bB2CHxJLmw
-login-name=“admin” -password=“password” -name=admin -keyring-type=none
-description=“admin account”

I tried setting the env variable.
export BOUNDARY_TOKEN=$(
boundary authenticate password
-auth-method-id=ampw_bB2CHxJLmw
-login-name=admin
-password=password
-keyring-type=none
-format=json | jq -r “.token”)
Same issue.

Here is the error:
Error trying to create password-type account: error performing client request during Create call: Post “http://127.0.0.1:9200/v1/accounts”: dial tcp 127.0.0.1:9200: connect: connection refused

The client is trying to connect to the controller, but unable to. Are you running Boundary locally in dev mode or somewhere remotely?

Oh, you’re running this in Docker aren’t you? Set the address in the api listener block to 0.0.0.0:9200, and either make sure you’re forwarding port 9200 from the host (docker run -p 9200:9200 …) or set the BOUNDARY_ADDR in your host terminal to use the container IP (probably 172.17.something.something). Otherwise the process will listen only on localhost inside the container and access from the host won’t work.

Issue resolved,

Thank you!
