Is it possible to set envoy as default proxy for Consul sidecars?

When I define service stanza in Nomad job Consul runs connect sidecar with a built-in proxy, is there a way to configure Consul to run connect sidecar with envoy proxy. I understand how to manual deploy envoy with consul based on the this tutorial Secure Service Communication with Consul Service Mesh and Envoy | Consul - HashiCorp Learn
but how use envoy proxy as default instead build in, if it possible? Help me please)
