Nomad 1.7.2, 1.6.5, and 1.5.12 released

The Nomad team has released Nomad v1.7.2, which includes a critical bug fix for Nomad and Nomad Enterprise.

This release includes, among other minor improvements and bug fixes:

  • A fix for a critical bug introduced in Nomad 1.7.0. On some platforms, the fingerprinted CPU resources for a client could be empty. This led to nodes which could not accept workloads, or crashes in the scheduler.

  • A fix for missing Raft metrics.

  • A new prevent_reschedule_on_lost jobspec field that prevents allocations from being rescheduled when a node is disconnected.

  • A new example job template with Task Actions.

Please refer to the changelog for the complete list of improvements and bug fixes. We are also releasing backports of bug fixes to Nomad 1.6.5 and 1.5.12.
